260.000 LBS TRANSFORMER TRANSPORTED BY ACI CARGO LOGISTICS FROM SOUTHAVEN, MP, USA TO SANTA MARTA IN COLOMBIA.

Early December 2010 ACI Cargo Group was nominated by Transelca S.A. the most important electrical plant in Colombia to transport from the Mississippi State in the USA, one 130 metric tons transformer plus its 15.000 gallons of dielectric oil and accessories, to South America. 

ACI Cargo Inc. in the USA contracted Barnhart Crane, Ceres Barge, Intermarine and Mamut to perform a huge door to door service using professional manpower, modern equipment and impact registration devices in a record time of some three weeks.

ACI Cargo Logística S.A. in Colombia obtained import licenses and clear the freight through customs in Colombia, for an immediate delivery of the transformer to the buyer.
